Complete Operating Instructions
Initial Setup:
- Place heat press on a stable, flat surface that can support 30+ lbs
- Ensure adequate ventilation - heat presses can produce fumes from transfers
- Plug into standard 110V outlet (avoid extension cords if possible)
- Turn on power switch located on the right side
Setting Temperature & Time:
- Press "SET" button once - temperature display will flash
- Use arrow buttons to adjust temperature (typically 350-380°F for HTV, 385-400°F for sublimation)
- Press "SET" again - time display will flash
- Use arrow buttons to set time (typically 10-15 seconds for HTV, 45-60 seconds for sublimation)
- Press "SET" once more to confirm settings
- Wait for machine to reach set temperature (red heating light will turn off)
Pressure Adjustment:
- Locate pressure knob on top of the machine
- Turn clockwise to increase pressure, counter-clockwise to decrease
- Test with your material - you should feel firm resistance when closing but not need excessive force
- Light materials = light pressure, thick materials = medium-heavy pressure
Pressing Process:
- Pre-press garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles
- Position transfer on garment (mirror image for HTV)
- Cover with included teflon sheet or parchment paper
- Close press firmly until it locks - timer will start automatically
- When timer beeps, open press carefully (hot steam may escape)
- Remove garment and peel transfer according to manufacturer instructions (hot or cold peel)
Common Settings Guide:
- HTV/Vinyl: 305-320°F for 10-15 seconds
- Sublimation: 385-400°F for 45-60 seconds
- Infusible Ink: 385°F for 40 seconds
- Screen Printed Transfers: 350°F for 10-12 seconds
- Rhinestones: 330°F for 10-15 seconds
